“Best sushi ever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 4, 2014

Super fresh sushi, awesome rolls (really big) and the best sashimi (nice, large pieces). A great restaurant for many years and still serving the best sushi.
Enjoy....

“For the price, it's alright”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Location-wise, it's kind of in the middle of nowhere. Price-wise, it's incredibly overpriced and I wasn't even sure how authentic it is. I got the chirashi bowl. It was tasty, but for $50...no. It's not that hard to cut up pieces of fish and put it on top of sushi rice. Admittedly it was fresh, but for $50, I expected a lot more. It was a 30 minute wait on a Thursday evening (even after they said we were good to go and had made reservations), and another hour after ordering for the bowls to come. I would not go out of my way to come back here.

“Derricious!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 10, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

This place is really good. Although the prices can look a bit daunting on the menu, they are justified. The amount of fish you get on the rolls here is unbelievable, and the rolls are also HUGE! Worth trying if you are a sushi eater.

“food was okay”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2012

They do give you a lot of food for the money. The fish pieces are large and portions are huge however, I found the quality isn't up to par. Felt like they try to make up for the lack of quality with more food. However, that said, it is a nice little restaurant with friendly staff. I would return but wouldn't consider it highend sushi restaurant. Ohshima in Orange or Kimagure in Pasadena is better in my opinion.
