I love the decor and the bar. Staff is friendly not very attentive but polite. It is small and intimate setting, not sure how big groups would do in this space if wanting to eat dinner. Although I did not care for the food they did have vegetarian options. The chicken tacos tasted like boiled chicken tossed in mayo and the posole was flavorless. But the things you can't really mess up or to get with drinks would be the chips, guac and queso fundido (addictive!) Overall would come here again for drinks and to hang in a pretty space.

Fabulous little spot for happy hour. Specializes in Tequila, Mezcal and Bourbon cocktails. Also has a nice selections of unusual appetizers (cucumbers in lemon and chili salt). I had a great jalapeno margarita and my gf had a delicious sangria. Cute little patio in the back.

Claustrophobic little hole-in-the-wall drinking establishment. The decor is interesting down to the toilet seats. The drinks are expensive but strong. The interior is a long, rectangle and it feels like your tucked into a little shoe box.

By far my favorite bar in Guerneville. The space is so rustic, modern and cool. And the drinks are the best in town. You must try the El Jardin...it will change your life! Service is friendly and welcoming and they will explain each drink to you if you have questions. They have a cute little back patio which is fun for warm evenings while sipping your cocktail. You must check this bar out if you are in town. The only frustrating thing is their hours of operation...they close at midnight most days and at 9pm on Sundays, which seems a little early. But other than that, I love this place!!!

We stopped into El Barrio for a light dinner and cocktails on a Saturday evening in June. Pleasantly surprised to grab seats at the bar, and enjoyed one of the best cocktails ever - the LA PATRONA! Also enjoyed "Tres Amigos" chips - a sampling of three excellent house salsas. Don't miss the amazing quest fundido, served with warmed tortillas. Highly recommend this very charming bar. My only regret is I can't recall the name of our very nice bartender - he's new to Guerneville (moved from Oakland recently), and a true pro. I've rarely enjoyed a cocktail that good, and for an exceptionally reasonable price. Wish it was closer to where we live!
