The rooms and inn are very nicely decorated and make the inn very comfortable. Visitors kitchen with free water for your days travels, a refrig to store any perishables you may have, or if you prefer a beer that is available also for a small fee. Fresh baked goodies are put out to enjoy after your days travels. There is a very nice hot tub on the patio which is perfect to end the day and sample some of the awesome wines collected during the day. Randi the inn keeper/owner is the epitome of what a B&B hostess should be (we didn't really meet Randall as he was away on a golf trip). She was very accomadating and LOVES to chat. She even joined us for a glass of wine on the patio at night. As mentioned many times in the reviews...the breakfast is to die for. Location was very good and an easy drive to many wineries and good restaurants for dinner at night. We have stayed at many places in wine country and this was definately the best. For the price you can't beat it! Highly recommended!

When my friend suggested staying in a Bed & Breakfast in the Russian River Valley, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the Ridenhour Inn was exceptional. Randi and Randal, the innkeepers, were warm and friendly and their breakfasts were fabulous. The fact that they also operate a successful catering business, might contribute.

Sherry and baked goodies were always available for our enjoyment, and the whole place was beautifully and tastefully decorated. You really felt comfortable relaxing in the spacious living room. The location was excellent, close to many wineries and wonderful restaurants, and the only negative comment would be some automobile road noise, which diminishes in the evening. I would definitely recommend the Ridenhour Inn.

Two weeks later, I frequently think of the five wonderful days we spent at the Ridenhour Inn. It is charmingly decorated and the fresh fruit and variety of breakfast dishes were delightful. Randall was a gracious host and terrific cook. (We look forward to meeting Randi on our next visit.) It was quite refreshing to return to the inn after spending hot days touring the Napa and Sonoma valleys. The hot tub was perfectly jetted for soothing away tense muscles the first night. Evenings were comfortably warm for sampling the day’s purchases and chatting with the interesting guests. Even “ferocious” Calvin, the Dachshund, was a treat. Guerneville is convenient for taking a break from the vineyards to sample fresh oysters with one of your wines and see the whales migrating off the coast. Each wine we open brings back fond memories. Ridenhour Inn was wonderful!!! The best B and B I have ever stayed in! Not to mention the breakfast!! A five star breakfast! I wish I could take Randi and Randal home with me and have them cook breakfast every morning! They have a wonderful daughter who checked us into our room. She was delightful and so cheery. I would reccomend Ridenhour Inn to anyone who is interested in visiting the Russian River Valley. It is located right next to Korbel.... wonderful champagne.

We had a wonderful vacation and really enjoyed the elegance of the Inn and the warmth of the innkeepers. The breakfast was the best we've ever had at a B&B. Wineries are great to visit in the winter and we had some sun for hiking too!
I read a previous review about coffee and all I have to say is that the brewed coffee was just perfect -- and besides I LOVED the Senseo Machine in the Guest kitchen where you can make coffee as strong as you want and at anytime. We also were able to keep some cheese and wine chilled in the guest fridge and enjoy it at our leisure. Perfect. We'll be back!

We stayed at the Ridenhour Inn this past weekend to celebrate Valentine's Day. We stayed in the Madrone room and absolutely loved it. I am particularly picky about cleanliness and I must admit the entire place was spotless. We had treats in our room upon arrival and the breakfasts were outstanding- beyond what we had ever imagined. Both Randi and Randal were friendly and made us feel as though we were visiting family friends rather than staying at a hotel environment. We had never stayed in Sonoma before and didn't know where to eat, what to visit, or what wineries to check out, but Randi made sure we had a game plan for our visit, which helped us to take advantage of what the area had to offer. She even helped us to set up a driver for our touring of the wineries at the last minute. What a gal! And the hot tub is brand new and fabulous. It has various massaging jets, colored lights (they can even be set to rotate) and a mini waterfall. We used it both nights. Plus, she made reservations for us for a romantic pre-Valentine's day dinner at Applewood. This was a weekend that we will never forget. We will be back next year with some friends in tow!
