On vacation, we are always on the look out for where the locals going but sometimes with the place doesn't look special or unique we pass it over. SO glad we didn't pass this place over. After a few days of wine tastings and having more gourmet meals, we were so ready for some solid Mexican and this place was the perfect fix. The menu is huge and the staff helpful, even more so if you know some Spanish. Prices are cheap considering other places we went. You head up to the counter, order up, then serve yourself chips and salsa, and lastly don't forget a beverage. Then go find a table, enjoy yourselves and they will find you with your order. No fuss just plain good food. While we were there, a large family group came in too and handling such a group was no problem. The cheese enchiladas were terrific as was the beef and chicken burritos. They recommended their shrimp dishes but we will have to go back another time to try those.
