While up in the Santa Rosa area this past weekend, my wife and I decided to take a side trip to Guerneville for lunch. Downtown is not very large, but they do have a lot packed into a very small area (breweries, oyster bars and a variety of resteraunts). We decided to try the Main Street Bistro. What a great surprise. A little dark and unassuming, but they have good food and great service. I had the meatball sandwich, while my wife had the turkey burger. We also split a small side dish of pork belly. Believe it or not, the pork belly was the best choice out of our order. My meatball sandwich was served on a large hunk of bread with lots of cheese. My wife's turkey burger was a little dry, but we'll prepared. Both dishes were served with a side of arugula salad. The pork belly was, on the other hand, outstanding. Overall, I came to the conclusion that their side dishes (bar food) are better than the regular meals. They have a large bar area off of the main dining room with lots of TV's showing different sports events from around the Bay Area. Looks like a fun place for a Friday night or after work get together.

We were seated immediately without reservations. It took a little while for a server to come to us, but we were told upfront they were busy and understaffed. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We had pizza and bread pudding for dessert. Both were very tasty and were ALL eaten! There was live music the night we were there; a quartet of ladies singing and playing musical instruments; WWII era music. It was lively and entertaining.

Had an amazing prime rib. My girlfriend had a seafood risotto. We sat away from the live music towards the back and it was a good volume. Friday night seemed busy. Would definitely eat there again!

Good entertainment. Only had tea and dessert but good menu selection & service. Nice place to eat. They have a bar and casual dining in one room and a nicer dining room where live entertainment is provided.

We popped in here after the food we saw people eating outside looked good. They had good beer on tap and we decided to get a few plates off their tapas menu. We got the braised cambozola and hummus platter and also the braised pork belly. Both were good, I was pleased with the amount of stuff on the platter and the quality of the items, everything was tasty and the bread wasn't cooked hard as a rock like a lot of places do with menu items like this. The pork belly was cooked perfectly! Everyone working there was very friendly! Glad we popped in!
