We came down to our old stomping grounds, Sonoma County, to visit our daughters; one of whom works at nearby Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve. We asked her to find a place close by so that we could meet for lunch. She steered us to the Garden Grill.
An unpretentious setting nestled alongside State Highway 116 just outside of "downtown" Guerneville, if you don't look sharp (or have a GPS), you could easily miss it. There is limited parking in front but additional parking is located behind the restaurant. The inside dining area is small, but there is a large outdoor dining area also. The day being fairly hot, we chose to eat inside.
You will find yourself warmly greeted as you step inside and that warmth just keeps on coming throughout your visit. My wife has enough dietary issues to make navigating the average restaurant menu seem more like making a path through a minefield, but her every question was answered with a smile.
