“A quiet place on the best part of the Medonoma Coast”
Reviewed June 22, 2018 for a stay in June 2018

A comfortable "in-law house" on a large property that you and your pets can stay at in tiny Anchor Bay, CA ,where you can really get away from the crowds during a NorCal beach vacation. Fun to stare at the stars at night from the deck's hot tub. Fish Rocks Beach is two minutes drive away ($5 / vehicle & $3 / adult) at the Anchor Bay Campground (worth the price). Hendy Gulch, Schooner Gulch State, and Bowling Ball beaches all 10 minutes away to the North (all beautiful). Gualala and Sea Ranch Hikes 15 minutes to the South. The Anchor Bay General Store is well-stocked with food (except for fresh fruits + vegetables, understandably given it's size - just go to Gualala for those). Far fewer tourists here than at Mendocino town to the North or Bodega Bay/Jenner/Russian River to the South, even though the weather seems to be better here.

“Cute little Coastal Cottage”

This place is adorable and a hop, skip and jump away from the most beautiful California coastal views. It has a full kitchen, two bedrooms with comfy beds, a wide open living room and a hot tub on the deck. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and the price was perfect as well! It is also pet friendly; we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in a quaint little house, walked on the beach, visited Annapolis winery. The stars at night while sitting in the private hot tub were so beautiful. I slept SO well in the comfy bed - can't wait to return.
