Good place if you are staying at the hotel. Under staffed. The Hamburger was good! The waitress was totally out of it. The girl supporting the waitress should be promoted. She was more knowledgeable than the waitress about reservations required or not and she seemed to be very efficient. The waitress no so much.

Great service from Michelle. Celebrated our two daughter's birthdays at the magic show dinner & enjoyed both although one daughter had to send her steak back twice to get it cooked medium well. Second time Michelle got her a new steak cooked just right but by then everyone else had finished their dinners. Still in all a great night.

I had heard about the Cellar Door restaurant in Groveland, CA and decided to surprise my wife by taking her there for her birthday. We both were in for a surprise. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and the menu choices were wonderful. Best of all, the food was superbly prepared and delicious. Our steaks were perfect and everything, from appetizers to dessert, was what one would expect in a big city, high class restaurant. We will take the hour and a half drive to dine there again and again.

I had a great dinning experience ! started my evening with smapling of wine which was beyond what i was expecting, the service was great with timely and friendly servers. for dinner i started out with a salid with blue cheese dressing, it was to die for, for my main course i chose a ribye steak which i like cooked meadium, and it was without flaw. accompanning my steak was mashed potatoes, these seemed to melt in my mouth. so if your looking for a once and a life time dinning experience visit the Groveland Hotel resturant.

We drove all the way from Modesto, had a great dinner with delightful appetizer.
Top it off with Prime Ribeye and lobster tail, can't wait to go back.
