We ordered a take out dinner from the Iron Door and I had a glass of wine while waiting. It claimed to be the oldest bar in CA, and was very rustic inside. The barkeep was very friendly and there were guests from around the world sitting and talking. Worth to have a least one drink there

Loved this place great food and lots of different beers to try. Evelyn served us and was ever so nice, even when it got busy she was always one step ahead of the game. Everyone made us Aussies feel so welcome. Burgers were fabulous.

It is one of the oldest bars in California. A classic spot right off the road to Yosemite. Gets pretty loud when there is live music playing.

The entire place is in general disrepair. The dining areas are not as clean as they should be. Partiularly the tables near the bar are dirty and the floor around them is sticky and dirty. I'm completely grossed out by the dollar bills stuck to the ceiling. Its a historical tradition here and so there are literally 50 plus years of dollar bills that have been tossed up with a push pin and are dangling overhead. It is dirty, dusty and discusting. The bathrooms are not clean. The silverware is not clean. The food is really bad. We won't ever eat here again.
