We found this place thanks to TripAdvisor and love it!
We stayed during the week, meaning that less than half of the cabins were occupied - in other words: it was totally quiet and peaceful - exactly what we wanted!
We had a one-bedroom cabin which was clean, spacious and had lots of natural light. At night time temperatures fell close to freeing point but the gas heaters warmed up the cabin in no time.
They have a tavern and restaurant there and the food at both places is pretty good - not what you expect when you think about a 'cabin in the woods'.
We booked a day trip with one of their guides which turned out to be a breathtaking tour. The guy (Freddie) was super knowledgeable and created a lovely memory.
Overall, the staff is extremely unpretentious and warm in a very natural way.
It's not cheap though - overall, for two nights (including food and the tour) we paid approximately a thousand dollars. However, it was totally worth it and we will come here again for sure!More
