“AMAZING!!”
Reviewed July 25, 2012

We have been coming here for about 5 years now. This place is wonderful. Large tree shaded sites with creek running thru, a foot bridge, horse shoe pit, tether ball, Plenty of biking area for the kids. basketball court, A store full of ice cream and necessities, Direct TV boxes provided and hooked up for you if you need help. The nicest staff of any place we have ever stayed. My family looks forward to going here every year and so do the other 5 families we travel with. These people are so accomidating to what ever your needs are and are constantley making upgrades and changes to the grounds. We almost cant wait to see what they have done since we left last. I would recommend it to anyone.. We will be back for many years to come!

I found the staff to be so friendly and helpful. They helped us solve a problem caused by a turn of the weather, which allowed us to spend our days worry free in Yosemite.
The campground was clean with nice amenities. It was quiet and safe.
They answered all my emailed questions quickly and provided me with the information I needed when planning my trip.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a campground in the Yosemite area.

Stayed here with a family of 5 from the UK in our RV.
What appealed most is that the shuttle bus service into Yosemite Park ( an hour away) stops right here meaning you can leave the RV behind and relax.

Perfect spot. Friendly people. Great restaurant right next door at the Bush Meadows, after all the hikes of Yosemite. Julie and Greg great hosts.

On an RV trip stops with space, peace and tranquility, good showers and a laundry are very important. This is a good spot for all of that.

Friendly staff, well kept facilities and very clean (new) cabin. Nice rural location, 12 miles from the Yosemite park entrance, but over an hour from Yosemite valley. Did not eat at on-site restaurant based on reviews, instead drove to Groveland (20 minutes) to Pizza Factory...which was great, but that is another review.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the new cabins

We spent 4 days here in early June. This is the place to stay when visiting Yosemite. It is a half hour from the gate to the park so you are far enough away from the insanity of camping in the park that you are able to relax after a long day. The people here are very friendly. We rented a Garden Cottage and we were very happy with it. It was comfortable and cozy. Just a really nice place to stay. We ate at the restauraunt several times. The food is good and they have cold sandwiches that are much better than anything you can buy inside Yosemite. if I ever make it back to Yosemite I will definitely stay here again. Staying here is a MUST!!!

This is a GREAT place to stay. Father's Day weekend my dad, my sister, and I traveled to Yosemite to climb Half Dome. We stayed in one of the Ridge Resort cabins. It was wonderful! The resort was easy to get to and had a great restaurant next to it (Ordering the homemade fries and apple pie is a must). Gas was right there on sight so it was super convenient to fill up our tank before heading out. The drive to the park was a nice drive and did not feel far from Yosemite. Our cabin was amoung the trees, we could park our car right by our cabin, and it had a picnic table and grill right outside the cabin too. It was stocked with dishes, silverware, plenty of linens and towels, a microwave, and a coffee pot. The tv had cable and although we were not there to watch tv, it was nice to have a few channels on while we prepared dinner, etc. The cabin was clean, quiet, and had a nice woodsy feel to the decorations. It had an AC unit that we could turn on or off with just a switch. Bob and the other office staff were so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay there again. It really made our short trip to Yosemite wonderful and we felt at home and comfortable there for the 3 nights we stayed.

Room Tip: We had a cabin with a bedroom and then bunkbeds in a seperate closed off hallway. It worked great fo...

We stayed in the cutest cabin! The staff was so nice and helpful, Suzy actually loaned me her cell phone to text my family because I didn't have service. We ate at the restaurant nearby, food was good and the staff was friendly. The Ridge has a laundry, a store, gas and showers. We had a mini family reunion and had a great time. Everyone said, let's come back here next time!
