“Good food, Great service!”
Reviewed August 4, 2012 via mobile

Busy Saturday night, but we got a table in the bar area. Staff was very knowledgable and service was great. We enjoyed an appetizer and split a dinner, which was very good. We would definitely go back anytime!

“Great service, good good”
Reviewed July 23, 2012

We had dinner reservations for 7:30 pm on a Saturday night. The place ended up not being busy at all. We were one of about 7 tables of guests. The first thing the waitress told us was they were out of lamb shanks and pork chops. Disappointing, we really wanted the lamb. We ordered the lobster and shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and the Sausage with Farfarelle pasta and veggies. The fettuccine had two small pieces of lobster, about the size of 1 1/2 inches square and what looked to be those tiny canned shrimp. The dish was very dry and was taken off of our bill. ($19.95 for a bowl of dry pasta) The sausage dish was flavorful and colorful, though it was dry as well. The menu is huge with lots of choices in various categories. Don't miss the calamari appetizer. That and a salad would make a great meal. Very pricey. One pasta dish, two glasses of cheap wine, calamari appetizer: $45.00. Service was very good and waitress knew her menu inside and out. Will try this place again. Nice atmosphere.

“A light supper”
Reviewed July 6, 2012

We enjoy popping over to Cirino's Main Street bar for a drink and a light supper of their clam chowder soup (it's really good), side salad and bread. The bartenders and waiters are very friendly and the atmosphere is fun.

“Wonderful Lunch on a Sunday Afternoon”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

We were just enjoying Grass Valley and walking around the downtown area on a Sunday when we found Cirinos. What a find! We got right in as it wasn't that crowded. A very nice Italian waiter went over all the specials with us and was most helpful in recommending several different plates explaining how they were prepared. It was a hard decision to make as so many of the dishes sounded wonderful. Every dish came out attractively plated and we didn't wait long once our orders were taken to get our food. The tables had white linen tablecloths along with cloth napkins; I always think the food looks better on top of tables with tablecloths; it's just a nice added touch. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we all felt the prices were fair. My camera was in my purse so I took pictures of the food before we consume it. This restaurant was a nice, unexpected experience that we found on a day trip to Grass Valley.
