My family are regulars here for lunch, but its only because we come back time and again to the most delectable salad bar/buffet entrees. The variety of ethnic specialities changes constantly, but is always great tasting, along with basic staples such as baked chicken and several pastas. The salad and veggies are as fresh and local as they come, all organic. Dishes are never oversalted or overly spicy it seems. Most everything always in balance to the taste buds. The Cesar salad dressing recipe- best I have ever had, anywhere. The person who heads up the kitchen here is doing an amazing job, as salad bars tend to be inconsistent. Far from it here at Briarpatch.

This is a coop but you don't have to be a member. The selections are incredible. They have a buffet to pick your own, or a deli to choose your own. They have a huge selection of natural & organics bulk foods and local meats. Fresh salmon in season. Wonderful place to shop. A little on the expensive side, but when you are traveling this is a one stop shopping experience. Organic baby items, beauty and bath accessories, canned goods, breads, cleaning supplies. All under one roof. Take some time to walk through it the first time.

I visit Briar Patch several times a week. You can't beat what they have to offer! Fabulous food already prepared, too.

Briar patch can be a little on the expensive side, but that is because they use quality ingredients. There soups are a great deal. Most days they have a choice of three soups and I've never had one I didn't like. Give the soup a try and you won't be sorry.

The grocery store was very good if you are looking for organic and especially for health oils etc. However, the prices for the fish and organic meats were extremely high. Too expense for my pocketbook.
