Besides the very clean and updated accomodations (roomy but not spacious), we loved the character here. Though it really has no grounds to speak of (your rooms overlook their little parking lot) it still managed to be charming - with apple and peach trees heavy with fruit and honest-to-goodness grapevines (with grape clusters ripening on the vines) arching around and throughout the brief walkway to the workout room and small pool. All the rooms are compact but you don't mind because they take such care to give a welcoming, homey feel. Their complimentary breakfast boasted freshly-made (at your request) waffles, a large assortment of delicious fruit and pastries as well as several choices of juices and freshly brewed coffee. The hotel itself it literally just yards away from the main street of Grass Valley - a town that you could easily walk through to enjoy their one-of-a-kind shops and restaurants - yet secluded enough that you don't feel you are on the main drag. In fact, its across the street and adjacent to 2 homes. You feel part of the neighborhood - in more ways than one.

My cousin and I enjoyed the six nights we spent at GV Courtyard Suites. Our room, #5020, was on the ground floor, with convenient parking right by our door. We had a refrigerator and microwave. This hotel even provides bath robes.
The pool and spa were very nice. There is also an exercise room, sauna, and guest laundry facility. The free breakfast and evening snacks were very good.
The staff was very helpful and provided us with maps. It is a short walk to historic downtown Grass Valley.

It makes my mother-in-law and her poodle very happy! That is saying a lot!
The staff are all so professional and kind. The rooms are so nice!
It is tucked away in a downtown neighborhood, like a hidden treasure.
It is the only place that I would recommend for family/guests.
By far the best in Grass Valley

This hotel/motel is the absolute greatest. We spent two days here passing through from San Francisco on our way to Lake Tahoe and we enjoyed it so much that we are going up to Grass Valley/Nevada City again just to spend 4-5 days here and better explore the area. The rooms are large, very tastefully done, many amenities that are only found in 5 star hotels. Its location is perfect. In a quiet residential area, but only one block away from the center of town. The owner is delightful and the staff is very helpful.

Great place to stay in Grass valley/Navada City. Rooms are large, nicely decorated, clean, and quiet. The rooms have the feel of a nice Bed & Breakfest. Most rooms have a small patio, bathrooms are granite, wounderful memory foam matresses, terri robes. Continental breakfest included. I perfer going out for a full breakfest across the street. The staff has always been great. I have styed here at least 4 times. Best place in the area to stay.
