Description: Since 2002, Diegos has connected cultures and community through an escape into the Latin flavors of the Lower Americas, where our recipes are prepared daily in their traditional style. From the warm, house-made bread rolls and fresh crepes to our decadent desserts and fantastico weekend specials, we consciously source natural ingredients that are friendly to the environment. This includes free-range, grass fed, sustainably raised proteins and local organic produce. By operating with love, gratitude and a professional personal touch, we enjoy providing a colorful, comfortable setting where our guests are able to create and share memorable experiences together.

“Unique, friendly, and tasty....”
Reviewed September 6, 2011

Both the menu and the decor are very eclectic. We sat outside on the patio, and it was delightful. The tiny buns that are brought to the table with an unusual and very excellent salsa are excellent. We shared the lamb skewers (ANTICUCHO) and the pork ribs. Both were tasty, but the lamb was the favorite. We finished the dinner by sharing the Celestino which was delicious. We are definitely going back the next time we are in Grass Valley as want to sample so many of the other items on their menu.

“Best fish tacos I've had”
Reviewed September 5, 2011

We both ate the fish tacos, and they were delicious, with a complex topping that complimented the fish perfectly. The black beans tasted like "from scratch." Oh, and the tortillas are home-made. I can't wait to return for an empanada and to explore the rest of the menu. Staff make you feel like you're a guest in someone's home. Cute decor too.

“Colorful, delicious, complex, lots of variety.”
Reviewed July 7, 2011

Excellent fish tacos! House made tortillas. Great service. Interesting, eclectic decor. Huge glass of refreshing sangria on a hot summer day. All around a quality experience - we will be going back soon. Wish we had room to try the desserts, they sounded wonderful.

“Excellent Desserts”
Reviewed February 15, 2011

Diego’s restaurant in Grass Valley isn’t some place you would stumble upon on accident, but it’s worth the small detour to discover this unique Latin flavored restaurant near downtown. We went for some desserts and enjoyed a decadent Fruit Chimi and a fried bananas. If you’re looking for a restaurant with some individual style and great food, check out Diego’s.
