This museum is one with an actual working stamp, pelton wheel, cornish pump and many other mining equipment. The docents are extremely knowledgeable and fun. There is much to see and do at the museum. Donations are appreciated.

For anyone intereste in history and technology this is a MUST SEE.

The gentleman who runs it is informed accommodating, and amusing; a piece of living history!

His tour and talk are terriffic.

There is no charge, but I always leave between $5 and $20 (depending on the number I bring) to help keep this great place going.

Everytime I have guests I take them there and always to rave reviews. a nice combination is a visit here and then to the Empire mine wher you shouldn't miss the Gardens and the Bourne "Cottage".
