We were visiting our son at UCSB and wanted to take him to dinner. We caught a movie and then went to Hollister next door. We were seated quickly, the menu looked promising enough.
Boy, I wanted to like this better. The manager spoke proudly of the establishment, the waitress seemed eager, but then the service went downhill (uneven timing for bringing out food, food indifferently seasoned and sometimes mushy or sometimes undercooked.
I hope management takes to heart that diners want a good experience. Please check the food before it leaves the kitchen and tell the kitchen to wake up.
