Decent Cuban food but I like Versaille a lot better.

Great place for lunch. Friendly atmosphere, good food, usually fast service. Pan con lechon or the roast pork plate with rice, black beans and maduros... scrumptious!

I've only been there a few times, but have never been disappointed.

Have been to Mambo's several times. The food is good, though the beans are usually cold before you get half-way through them...remarkable because black beans are my favorite and I like to finish them first! Drinks vary in strength. A bit of an odd location as it is next door to a mechanic shop, but don't let that deter you. Also, the hours can be unpredictable and service qualitiy varies--like a true small "joint."

This is also good for groups for dinner--its not so noisy that you can't hear the conversation and the price is right for everyone. Evenings are quiet there as their busiest time is lunch.

Excellent food and a very cool atmosphere.
Transformed from an old gas station, Mambo's music and colors set the tone.
First off, I'd like to clarify that Mambo's is about $10-20 per plate. It really depends on what you order and how many drinks you get. But $20 as an average is silly.
Their Carri-Bean Salad is fantastic, the Cuban sandwich is wonderful, the pulled-pork is sumptious and there are great vegetarian plates like the Cartaya.
okay. I think i eat there way too much!
as an after-thought the parking lot is small, but there is plenty of parking nearby.
And the service... well, the service is colorful. Which is good for a place that is, essentially a hole in the wall.
Last of all, it's the little things... like serving their great bread with their equally yummy salsa...mmm.

Eat!
