We've been going to this restaurant for years, way back to when Paul was the manager. It was like a nice, family restaurant. Prices were quite reasonable, food was excellent and the ambience was terrific. We particularly liked the friendliness of the staff. It felt like we were renting one of our favorite booths where they ushered us into every time it was available. Don't get me wrong, it's still a fabulous restaurant, but prices have shot up. Parking , with the new electronic controls, is no longer as accessible. Management is no longer Paul (we sure miss him) but the manager is friendly and the staff is accommodating. Food is just as delicious. We particularly enjoy the Crispy Fried Fish and the Duck dish (I forgot its name ) We can no longer afford to eat there too often but once in a while it's still our guily pleasure. Compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area, it's still our favorite.

I've frequented this restaurant for years, although less so recently (prefer fare at another restaurant in south Glendale, a better value). Adjacent pay parking (in busy section of the city, parking can be problematic, although there's a sizable lot on west side of Maryland Ave., which runs south of Wilson Avenue, on which the restaurant is located). Decor nice. Personnel friendly, service good. Menu quite varied. Food tasty but portions rather small. White chocolate-coated fortune cookies (gratis) a novelty. One anecdote (true): years ago, a small group of us celebrated at this restaurant. One member was an oenophile. We ordered wine, starting with the most expensive, and worked our way down, price-wise. The most satisfactory one (and it was marginal) was the cheapest.

Very nice restaurant and friendly staff. Food is tasty, but stir fry veggies are pricey and served in very small portions. Some of their dishes are excellent, but I would recommend more veggies!! S.D. Glendale, CA

I would reccomend this resturant to everyone, the management here is stellar. We were greeted immediately and placed our order. For an unknown reason our appetizer took too long, so to make up for it the manager told us they would take it off our bill. As we left we decided to buy a bag of their deliscious forutne cookies; the manager threw in another dozen for free!
