“A hidden gem in LA”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2012 via mobile

We stumbled on this place after traveling to Glendale for an appointment; it was obvious from the crowds inside at 10:30 in the morning (not quite lunch but after breakfast) that this was a popular place....after checking Trip Advisor :) we decided that a Cuban meal sounded perfect! The pork sandwich was fabulous as was the salad, all come with plantain chips....everything that cam out of the kitchen looked yummy! You can choose from pastries, breads to full meals. Orders are taken at a counter & brought to you table...it's obvious that it's a "local" favorite but also people travel from all areas of LA to try this wonderful Cuban food, you won't be disappointed....

“A complete gem in Burbank”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2012

How many great things can you say about Portos. It is immaculate, the food is wonderful and tasty, the prices are excellent, the servers are all well trained and polite. Jack, the manager, is there all the time and is one of the most pleasant, on top of it, restaurant managers I have ever seen. I do almost daily for my coffee or for lunch.

“You can't miss Porto's when visiting Glendale or Burbank!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

Everyone loves Porto's. To die for bakery, sandwiches and Cuban coffee, and rock bottom prices. Also beautifully decorated cakes.
Very noisy and crowded most of the time, though. Not romantic, but great fun.

“good vibe, fresh food and drinks, reasonably priced”

The pastrami sandwich was extremely tasty. The lines move quickly and the tables open up so the wait is not too long. Don't forget to take home the meat pies!
