Very well located motel for exploring the area in an affable, attractive small town in the heart of wine country. Not accommodation to spend time in, but fine for sleeping. It did the job. Hot tub and (cold) pool are a nice addition.
Can recommend the supermarket / deli across the road. Expensive but good range and quality.

Beautiful location! The scenery is amazing! Hotel is not very children friendly. Hotel does not have any services and adjacent restaurant does not offer much besides a lounge to drink at. What saved the day in the area of food was the corner market which offers a good variety of food. Was disappointed when asked for a microwave and none was available nor a solution was offered. Will return to Sonoma/Napa however will look for another hotel with a staff that is more tourist friendly.

Glen Ellen is one of my favourite spots in Sonoma, largely because of the people and the food. Quirky is a good word for it. Jack London Lodge is all you need if you're looking for a clean, basic hotel room, with a great location. It isn't luxurious, but it is affordable and convenient.

I've stayed here several times and have always been satisfied. For the price, it's a good deal. That being said, don't expect 5 star accommodations. Although clean and suitable for a one night stay, the place is experiencing some deferred maintenance issues that prevent me from giving it more than 3 stars. It's time the owners did some long overdue remodeling, the wonderful location of this place merits it. A plus is an attached bar and restaurant. There is also a great upscale market across the street offering groceries, wine, and a great deli. Glen Ellen in a perfect home base while visiting this wonderful part of California. Recommended.

Stayed here with a friend after purchasing a deal on Groupon. Great location--within walking distance to fantastic restaurants and tasting rooms, and a short drive to visit wineries and parks. Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. The Saloon is awesome. Housekeeping staff at the Lodge deserve special commendations. Would recommend.
