Have been wanting to stay here on previous trips to wine country and just couldn't make it work til this trip. What a great place. A cute little 1 street town off the beaten path in wine country. Quiet and quaint. It's basically an old motor lodge but the rooms are decorated with antique dressers, beds and tables. The rooms and grounds are meticulously kept. Free continental breakfast in a wonderful little courtyard off the pool. Mature shaded grounds, quiet time starts after 9pm. They have a saloon across the driveway open til 2 am but pretty much everything else in this one street town closes at 9pm except for a little market a block away that stays open late. This will NOT be my last stay here. This is the peace and quiet of nature and the wine country experience!

Room Tip: A very small lodge, 2 stories maybe 20-25 rooms. I don't think there's a bad room or much of...

Jack London is a quaint little motel, set on 2 floors, with parking in front of the rooms. Basically, like something you'd see in Hollywood movie. We had two big comfortable beds. There are the other usual facilities like fridge, ironing board and iron, and tea and coffee machine. It could probably do with a lick of paint here and there but in all I thought it was a charming place. I didn't really experience any problems with noise though I did hear the people upstairs walking around in the morning. So ask for an upstairs room if you think this might be a problem.
There is a pool and hot tub with plenty of sun-loungers and chairs around them. Pool towels are provided in the rooms.
Breakfast is served on the patio by the pool. At first glance it is a small selection but in fact it is more than enough. You get coffee, a selection of teas, hot chocolate, juice, bread and pastries, different kinds of porridge, boiled eggs, yoghurt, and fruit. If you need more you can always run across to the amazing supermarket over the road.

Glen Ellen is such a cute town in the beautiful Sonoma Valley. This hotel is kind of an older 2 story California motel style that has been kept up nicely. There is a pool and hot tub and the grounds are nicely kept with flowers and trees.
The rooms are pretty standard a good size but really dark and not enough lighting. The beds are comfortable and the walls are a bit thin as are most of the motel style accommodations in California but I wore ear plugs and slept great.
There was a continental breakfast in the pool area in the morning which was just right for us to start our day.
Over all this was a great setting and a cute little motel/lodging.

I can recommend this little nice and personal hotel for a stay in Sonoma valley. The rooms and beds are comfortable, you have a nice pool and the garden is very pleasant. You have a vineyard (Benziger) only 20 min walk from the hotel so you don´t have to take your car there. The vineyard offers nice guided tours. However it is good to know that Glen Ellen is a very small village and you only have a few restaurants there.

Room Tip: Try to get a room on the 2nd floor which I think is nicer.

Found this lodge through Groupon. Great deal: price as well as 2 for 1 wine tasting coupons. Nice accommodations. Good location. Breakfast was served outside so some mornings were chilly to eat outside. One morning they served in the restaurant which was obviously more comfortable. Rooms have been updated. Walking distance to fantastic grocery store & multiple restaurants.

Got last minute reservations on a Saturday night, and were pleased with the accomodations. Our room was spotless and the bed comfortable, and the furnishings appeared copies of period pieces of the late 1800's - very cozy and reasonably priced.

We had reserved this hotel for 2 nts, but luckily got out of the 2nd nt. The room and furnishings were very old and outdated. One of our 2 towels was dirty! The other towel and sheets did not smell fresh. There was a child's bib on the floor, so obviously the room had not been thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. The old wall AC unit was VERY loud, so we did not get a good night's rest. And to top it off, the manager would not give a AAA rate, so we paid almost $200 for the night! Continental breakfast was cold rolls and cakes. There was cereal. Very disappointing stay! Only thing good about hotel was the location. Other than that, much renovation needs to be done and better cleaning!
