BR Cohn Winery offers a combination of wine tasting or olive oil testing. If you buy a bottle of wine, the tasting session is free. Outstanding red wines and also excellent olive oil selections. Great space to sit and relax....you could even buy a bottle of wine and have your own picnic here!

I stopped by for a quick tasting while in CA for the weekend. There is so much competition in this area that the owners need to realize that customer service is EVERYTHING. If I am dealling with a young kid who acts like he knows everything about everything....do you really think I am going to buy your wine? Four other vineyards are shipping four cases back to CT for me and although I was considering your Zin, dealing with the kid was not worth it.

Lots of wineries to visit in Sonoma area, and this is a good one All visits in this area seem much better than in Napa where we've gone in some previous years. Friendly relaxed people, generous with samples and guidance.Cohn has managed the Doobie Bros forever and there's lots of fun memorabilia here, too. The grounds and view are great as are the people. You won't go wrong with a stop here. Watch for 2-for-1 coupons.

This was our second time stopping at B.R. Cohn over the years and it remains a favorite. From the picturesque setting in a great location, to our tasting advisor, fun shopping and finally to really good wines. It was just a good time. I was sad to see they were no longer selling the Doobie Red, but their wine didn't disappoint. Glen Ellen is a great place to stay and you will have a lot of good wineries to enjoy, but make this one of them.

You really have to pick your visits, there are just so many wineries in this area. I chose this one after seeing it on the tv show Chasing Classic Cars. It was a fun place to go. They have a wide variety of wines at a wide range price points. The grounds are nice. I would love to be able to go back to the winery for their various events, including the summer concert. The staff was very well informed and trained.
