“Fun atmosphere/ No corkage fee”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

We've been to The Fig Cafe 4-5 times now and we enjoy the casual atmosphere, good food with very fresh ingredients, and the no corkage policy. It would be nice if they took reservations, but waiting 20 minutes or so is not an issue for us. The service is very good once you've been seated, but there isn't much of a greeting when you first walk through the door. Many times it's a server stopping to ask how many in your party & rarely do they take down names. We enjoy the fact that there are a lot of locals that come to The Fig....adds to the charm & homeyness.

“Great Locals Dinner Spot”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

No Reservations and Complimentary Corkage so support a local winery and bring a bottle or two. Owned by Sondra of girl & the fig on the square in Sonoma and the food quality is the same (very high). Comfortable, causal service that's always attentive. Locals atmosphere so if you're looking for white tablecloths and suits you might want to go elsewhere. Great value for money.

“Yummy place”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

The Fig is just a nice low key place. Good food, nice service, nothing high brow but a place you want to go to and have a good meal. Yes, the best way to express the place is that I would absolutely return for a meal (or two or three...). No corkage! but nice list anyway. They offer brunch, too. We've been there before a few years ago.

“Fabulous seasonal food, great staff”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

Fig Cafe is a little jewel in Glenn Ellen. Unlike many restaurants in the area it is also open on Mondays. As noted by others, there is no corkage.

Very crispy calamari. Excellent duck confit over lentils. One of our group also had mussels and enjoyed them. Really fresh salad with a citrus dressing.

Super service. Just the right amount of attentiveness.
