Me and my boyfriend Gianni stayed at the olea as a last minute find in September. Where should I start, first the staff Julie especially it was being like with ur best friend of ur favorite relative she made us feel special and like family from the minute we arrived. Helpful would be an understatement. She advised us on restaurants, wineries, and everything in between which were all fantastic recommendations. The cottage number 10 we stayed in was the most romantic secluded and beautiful place I have ever been. I was in love when I arrived and after this experience at the amazing place I would compare Sonoma and this place with what heaven should be. Food was amazing and I'm from Michigan and am planning to spend my valentines day here in 2014 with the most amazing man in the world. Thanks Julie we will never be able to explain how you made this then most amazing trip of a lifetime. Gianni wanted me also to tell you, your wine rocks!!!!

Could this beautiful small hotel live up to the wonderful reviews on Trip advisor - yes!!! We stayed here for our first visit to Sonoma Valley whilst celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne on arrival and this was the first of many treats in store, from the amazing breakfasts - mango coconut lime scones were out of this world, to beautiful wine in the afternoon, and little taster appertizers in the evening. The setting on the hillside is stunning, beautiful and peaceful, with a very comfy sitting area. One evening we sat with a few gourmet goodies we had purchased in the day, enjoying a glass or two of wine whilst the sun set - perfect ending to a perfect stay. And the staff were wonderful - a special thank you to Kent who gave us a lift to the Olive and Vine in Glen Ellen when our taxi failed to arrive. We will return to our little haven in the wine country.

Wonderful small B&B with approximately 14 rooms! Great gourmet breakfast and after dinner desserts! The support staff were extremely helpful for dinner reservations and suggestions as to wineries and wine tastings visits. My family loved the Olea Hotel and we hope to visit many times in the future.

Wonderful gourmet breakfast. Very beautiful setting. Wonderful service. This inn was a great stepping stone to start your tour of the beautiful wine regions. Each night we returned home to sip wine and watch the sunset on the mountain ridge. Hotel staff made our stay a pleasure!

Found this great B&B on tripadvisor. Wanted to stay 4 nights, however the Doobie Bros concerts at BR Cohn winery were that weekend, so we could only get Sun/Mon nights booked. Lucky for us, cabin #10 was available and it is the prime room of about 15 available. Has a fireplace, tall ceilings and is located in a very quiet setting. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was 4 star in quality. Coffee, homemade pastries, fresh fruit and a hot meal to finish things off. We could not fit it in our schedule, but there is also a super side hill patio area that is perfect for afternoon wine sipping !!!

Room Tip: Room #10 is a quiet cabin all by itself.

The setting is lovely with great sunset view over the Sonoma Valley from the comfortable terrace. Sleepy Glen Ellen was also welcoming and convenient for exploring the wine region here. The 2 restaurants we tried within easy walking distance were really good but the culinary highlight was the gourmet breakfast. All staff were very friendly and we felt instantly at home. I have done a lot of travelling, and Olea was the first place to prompt a review for all the right reasons.

This was our first trip to wine country and booked Olea based on Tripadvisor reviews. WOW a more perfect place could not exist. The staff, accommodations, food and setting is absolutely amazing. We spent 3 nights and can't wait for our next trip to Sonoma and the Olea. Thanks Olea for making our trip special.
