This is the quintessential local small restaurant in the original firehouse building, so it's got lots of character. Good place to hangout on a Friday or Saturday night. They have live bands so you can dance it up too!

We enjoyed our lunch here. Garlic fries and garlic bread were great. Salads were fresh and the pasta was nicely done. Great service as well.

My wife and I visited Station 55 in search of excellent garlic fries. We were told this restaurant makes the best in Gilroy. Of course we haven't tried every kind of garlic fries out there, but I can say, of the ones we have tried, they were really, really good, maybe the best we have ever had. We put in our order and minutes later a generous helping of very hot fries with chopped garlic arrived at our table in a basket. Very aromatic, flavorful and satisfying. We also ordered some stuffed jalapeño peppers and this is the appetizer I thought was outstanding. About a half dozen peppers stuffed with cream cheese, breaded and deep fried. If you like spicy, hot cuisine this is a fantastic side dish to accompany a cold drink. Careful though, this dish is for people who can handle the heat. We did get a little bonus during our visit. On the day and at the time we visited, the appetizers were half-priced. Great appetizers at a bargain price.
