“Very good wine, very reasonable prices”
Reviewed March 10, 2014

This winery is just beautiful. Very class inside the tasting room. The guy giving the tastings was so much fun and very informative. There is a wine for everyone at this vineyard. Buy some wine, give him your Visa card. They waved the tasting fee for us. Sonoma is much better about doing that that Napa Wineries.

“Wine tasting with knowledgable personable staff”
Reviewed March 1, 2014 via mobile

Stopped here on a whim and to enjoy some wine in the cool tasting room. Good variety of wines to sample, many chosen from their reserve, and fun to talk with others while hearing about the wine from the staff. Only draw back here is the standing bar area without seating, though there is plenty of space outside for picnics in the shade. Love Sonoma!

“Great value and many choices”
Reviewed January 14, 2014

If you can't find something to like at this winery, stick to beer. Clos Du Bois has always been a good choice for moderately priced Merlot, but we were surprised by the large variety of wines they sell at the winery. Some very fine red wines and some good whites as well. Very friendly tasting room staff - very knowledgeable especially George. Very good value for the money.

“The Perfect End to a Great Day”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

This was included in the Sonoma Helicopter tour; and boy is their wine tasting great!! First, the Tasting Room is large and friendly with TVs for sports. No bugs. /then, the wines themselves are excellent and diverse. Lastly, the attendants are knowledgeable and very friendly!!

“Marlstone Experience!”
Reviewed December 20, 2013

My boyfriend and I went to the Sonoma area as part of our 4th year anniversary trip (we also visited Yosemite and San Francisco), and this was one of the highlights! It is a little pricey, $50/person, but our guide (George) was phenomenal. We sat, and tasted the 5 wines that went into a Marlstone blend, and then go to make our own blend at the end, as well as taste Clos Du Bois' Marlstone. The wines that went into the blend are reserve wines that are $30+, and the Marlstone blend itself is $50 bottle of wine, so I think we got our moneys worth. The whole experience was about 2.5 hours, we spent a fair deal of time talking to our guide about wine, and how he got into it. He seemed like he would have been willing to spend the whole day talking about wine, and even poured us a glass of a wine that wasn't part of the experience, free of charge, just because he thought we should try it!
