Despite the dodgy location, this place won me over immediately. With hip, minimalist decor in shades of black, white, and gray, the focus is right where it should be -- on the phenomenal food. The breadbasket sets the standard, with soft fresh bread that I would guess is made with pastry flour given its delicate texture. The pizza has a crispy, wafer thin crust that showcases the gourmet toppings quite nicely. The wait staff was friendly and patient, giving recommendations and helpful descriptions of various dishes and ingredients. Eatalian is an unexpected delight, and I will be back.
