“Surprised the hell outta me!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

I've never met a friendlier staff. For one the woman at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. She got us a free upgraded room to accommodate a few friends that came to join us for the wkend at disneyland. She was all smiles and happy to help.we were late check ins..at around 1030p. When we got up the next morning, she was either still there or there again as smiley and helpful as can be with our ticket purchases.
They have one of the nicer complimentary breakfast bars I've seen in a while. If they woulda had bacon and different kind of eggs, we wouldn't have gone anywhere else for breakfast! (Hubby likes eggs a little softer)
I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the beds were. We slept great. Had no problems with noises from other rooms.
If there was a problem, they fixed it immediately! (Phone in room didnt work when we got there)
Overall I was very pleased with this hotel. No more shopping around for a hotel near disneyland, this is it!!!
I plan to become an official Hilton honors member because of this place :)
Best bday wkend ever!

We arrived late March for one week for a spring break vacation. Efficient and friendly check in. Able to be accomondated for higher level and view of disney fireworks in evening. Room was reasonably quiet, just depends on who your neighbours are and how considerate they are. ie. coming late at night or waking up early in am, just be as quiet as you can. The free internet was fast and convenient. Able to print off boarding passes with lobby computer. The breakfast was varied in the mornings and gave us an excellent start to the day. Some hot items and a waffle maker was provided. Fresh fruit assortment also. Good coffee to start the day.

There is a $12 per day parking, typical of hotels around disneyland. The location is a bit too far to walk to for disney, but there is a convenient shuttle service leaving at 15 and 45 minutes of the hour and costs about 4-5 per adult per day. The shuttle got busy during peak hours, but we were able to get on each time even though it was crowded, but we didn't mind. There was an outdoor pool, which we were not able to try. Location was close to many restaurants and a Target. Overall, we would highly recommend and will stay again in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher room, facing Disney

I really was looking forward to writing this review because I really want to help others. The first warning is just be because this is a Hampton Inn & Suites does not mean you get a suite. I booked a King with an extra family play area. It was supposed to have a bunk bed as Advertised on the Hilton Website. WARNING bunk beds do NOT exist at this hotel. They haven't for 5 years.

We got over the hump by getting a roll away. But we were still very short space. The kids area was divided by a wall and had cute carpet their own TV and a pottery barn beanie for lounging on the floor. All the linen was awesome! Great pillows and comfortable beds. The air con was freezing and we loved it. There is a tiny counter with the fridge, micro etc. Great considering we are used to suites. Housekeeping do a very good job. The breakfast was really good. I will definitely stay here again but get a connecting room if traveling with 2 or more kids. This room I got is perfect for one kid. I do recommend it if you follow these instructions. Great deal anyway.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn for 2 nights while visiting friends and Disney. We have stayed in many other Hamptons and although this was fine, it wasn't as nice as many. Our room was a typical double room and they were kind enough to let us have a roll away bed (for $10 per night) so our two boys could have separate beds, even though it was "against fire code". The breakfast was cereal, very runny oatmeal, make-your-own waffles, breads, and 2 fairly unappealing hot dishes per day (very fake looking eggs, etc). The pool area had a regular pool and a small hot tub with very dirty looking water. The exercise room was almost non-existent consisting of an elliptical which was broken and a treadmill that didn't incline. They offered to let us use the exercise room in their sister hotel across the parking lot, but that wasn't much better. It had an elliptical, two treadmills and some freeweights, but it was the thoroughfare to the pool. So, people were walking in front of you to get the pool the whole time.

The laundry facilites were good and the location was excellent. We ended up walking home from Disney (1.2 miles from the frontgate according to my phone). We tried to take the shuttle that was avialable from the hotel, but when it came it was full and we were going to have to wait (it also cost $18 for a family of 4). A taxi showed up and took us for 10, so we had to find a way home and thus walked.

There was a Buco Di Beppo in the parking lot that was quite tasty, so it was nice to be able to walk there after a long day in the park.

There are a lot of hotels in this area, so I would probably stay somewhere else the next time.

We were there for 4 nights. It was nice to wake up every morning to different hot items in their morning breakfast offerings. You cannot expect much more from a continental breakfast. It is convenient to the convention center, a little walk, but doable. I would recommend taking the shuttle to Disneyland. There is a slight charge, but is very convenient for both Disney parks and Downtown Disney District. The staff were especially helpful when we were leaving. Many of us left the same day around the same time. There was assistance to hold the elevator door as I tried to maneuver the luggage carrier around people and in and out of the elevator.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the North side if you want to watch the Disneyland fireworks at night from your ro...

Not my first time staying at a Hampton Inn & Suites. It was for my companion. He now understands why I choose Hilton Family Hotels and almost sounds like me as I listen to him tell family/friends about our stay at this location. From calling in for the reservation, to our arrival and our stay....friendly, comfort, clean and accomodations were wonderful!

Room Tip: If you are traveling with children/teens, get the 2 room suite. It has the mini kitchen and a room t...

Six nights in a spacious two room suite. Nothing like WHITE duvet covers to make a bed feel clean. Comfy sheets and towels. Queen beds were great! Sofa beds haven't improved in 50 years...still terrible. Generous breakfast. Nearly constant coffee service. I have seen reviews of friendly staff, but these folks were amazing. Every staff member had a nice smile and a greeting. Wonderful proximity to Disney...shuttles to the park and airports Parking a problem on Sat. night (restaurant in same parking) but rear secure entry and lighting made rear parking doable. No parking charges as said online. Sofa in our suite seemed worn, but sat comfortably. Didn't notice worn out conditions in room or general areas of hotel...well maintained. A/C quite noisy, but effective. Priced a little high. When we had to extend our trip due to family illness, we had to move due to costs. Regretted having to leave. Restaurants galore in walking distance!

Room Tip: Stayed 7th floor. No bothersome street noises. Convenient elevator.
