Stayed here for two nights with the family to visit Disneyland.

From the second we arrived, the staff did their best to be of service, to be accomodating, to be informative, and to be professional. They answered all of our questions; they provided great advice on our trip to the Magic Kingdom; they waived a fee that had promised to be waived; they arranged for extra toiletries to be brougt up when requested. A fantastic team - especially Oscar at the front desk.

That being said, the hotel rooms are showing their age a bit. The furniture had a good deal of nicks, dings, and scratches. The hallway walls seem a bit tired as they've clearly taken a beating from luggage cards, roll-along bags, and crazy children. The shower is going to need a refit sooner rather than later.

On the other hand, the common areas downstairs are in quite good condition (except for one waffle iron that was giving me fits). The convenience center was well stocked and had a very wide variety of snacks, travel items, toiletries, etc. The pool was warm and properly pHed (as was the hot tub). The reception area was well lit and welcoming.

Breakfast was on the average side with a lack of fresh fruit (pineapple, melon, etc.) on the second day and waffle mix that was "off". The issue of the waffle mix was addressed quickly; the lack of fruit except for a few bananas was not.

Overall a pleasant stay - especially for a two bedroom suite for $118 (significantly less than the Embassy Suites right across the way). Its very close to Disneyland (walkable if you dare or less than 5 minutes via a shuttle bus).

Room Tip: North facing rooms may be able to view Disneyland fireworks at night.

This hotel was good. The breakfast was really good. The room was clean and we had a room on 6th floor with a good view of the local car park and other hotels, but still it was pretty good.

The pool did break down a few times. We had problems with a air cond. that went from hot to cold. And in the end we got a room change. The air cond. worked better in the new room.

As resort areas go, this area near Disneyland is crowded with hotels, so the choices can be daunting. However, we usually opt for a Hampton Inn when available and we weren't sorry to have chosen this one. Just a mile from Disneyland, it's spacious and clean and boasts a staff that's friendly and eager to help. Most importantly, the price was right - only $107 per night plus taxes.

The rooms were large and comfortable and up on the 6th floor we actually had a decent view. The bathroom areas were large as well. The beds were excellent! We always enjoy those wonderful, warm white Hampton duvet covers and the extra pillows!

We arrived early and our room wasn't ready, but a staff member volunteered to call us when it was. We didn't have to wait long and were checked in by 1 pm. We appreciated that they accommodated us in that way as we were tired from a long trip and eager to relax. After checking in, we went to the pool, which was a little cloudy but still enjoyable. There's a hot tub as well.

Breakfast was good, with ample choices that included eggs (in some form or another), breakfast meats, waffles, bagels, pastries, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, and fruit.

One of the major perks of staying here was the shuttle service (for a minimal fee) to and from Disneyland. This eliminates the need to drive your car to the park and pay their exorbitant fees.

Here's another hotel I stayed at while on a trip to Disneyland. The location was nice given the fact there was dining and shopping within walking distance. The room we got was clean and simple. Nothing crazy. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and we would stay there again. We choose to stay at Hampton Inn's because we know what we'll be getting each time. Free breakfast, standard rooms and clean linens. This is the only place that states they change the duvet covers between guests. I love this as usually, I'm a little grossed out by bedspreads that all the guests have to share! Not that you need this long, but we stayed 10 nights and did Disney/California Adventure up right! The shuttle service runs every 1/2 hour and is shared between 3 hotels, all in the same parking lot. We only had to stand up in the shuttle one time, but they really try to accomodate by having extra shuttles run when needed. They also run on time and don't make a habit of waiting on people, which I appreciate - you know when to expect the shuttle and it is there on time and leaves on time. Park tickets are available for purchase at the hotel, as well as the shuttle tickets. The shuttle is $4/day/adult and $1/day/child. If you purchase a 2,3, 4 or 5 day pass you'll save some $$. Well worth it as 1 mile from Disney isn't far, but at the end of the day with kids and tired feet that mile doesn't look good! (it picks up from Disney every 30 minutes also). You can go back and forth as many times a day you want with the last shuttle from Disney is at 1AM. Drivers are nice too.
A super Target (with groceries), Red Robin, Outback, Bucca de Beppo, Jack in the Box are all within walking distance if you need supplies or a meal away from the parks. Tutti Fruitti frozen yogurt is our new favorite place, right across the street.
The pool is average and was a little 'murky' this time - maybe a filter gone bad, but we swam every day and it was a refreshing break. Although little in size, they provide pool towels.
What stood out the most on this visit was the staff. ALL greeted us, asked how our day was, said to have fun or a good day when we left, welcomed us back and were very helpful with any questions we had. The kids liked coming back to the room to see how Housekeeping posed their animals left on the beds while we were gone. The manager stopped to chat and ask if there was anything he could do for us and genuinely seemed interested and took pride in his hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 'odd numbered' side can see the Disneyland fireworks from the upper level floors. Laundry rooms are available for guests at the far end of floors 2 and 3.
