I was here attending a convention held at the hotel. Our luggage was lost by the airline and the hotel went above and beyond to make sure we were okay until our luggage arrived. The free shuttle service to and from Disneyland was great since we didn't have a rental car for our stay. It provided us an opportunity to still visit Downtown Disney without an added expense of transportation. The hotel had a couple of restaurants close by and a Target right across the street.
Clean room and very comfortable beds. I would definately stay here again.

My fiance and I just returned from a 6 night stay at the Hyatt Regency and we were very, very happy with this hotel! Check-in was fast and easy. We had asked for a king room at booking, but were given a queen, but without any hesitation the front desk agent gave us a family suite with a king bed and two bunk beds. Although we did not need the bunk beds, the room was very large so there was plenty of space for us to make ourselves at home for our extended stay. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The bathroom was well stocked with good towels and the shower was incredible (not one of those water saver types that shoots small streams of water out in all directions). The bed was huge and comfortable. It had soft sheets and plenty of comfy pillows. The TV had some connection issues so the cable would sometimes go in and out. One downside was that they charge about $10 for internet, which seemed a bit excessive. Another tiny problem was something about the way the doors close is very loud, so I was woken up a few times by loud closing doors. There is also a Pizza Hut and Starbucks in the lobby, which was really convenient for late night snacks and my much needed morning coffee fix.

The rooms are equipped with a refrigerator and microwave, and there is a Target store located right across the street. After finding out that bottled water is a whopping $3 in the parks, we made a quick trip to target and purchased a case of Dasani for $3.99. Though it made for a heavier bag, we saved so much by packing water into the park each day. Also located within quick walking distance was a Buca di Peppo (family-style Italian food), Outback Steakhouse, Red Robin, and Joe's Crab Shack. We ate dinner at each one of these restaurants and found it was a nice (and slightly less expensive) option to buying food in the parks.

Another major plus to this hotel was that even though it is about 2 miles from the parks, there is a shuttle that picks up at the hotel twice each hour. I know a lot of other hotels in this area have shuttles but the best part about the Hyatt shuttle is that it only makes two stops; one at the Hyatt and another at the Crowne Plaza a block away. This may not sound like a big deal, but after 10 hours walking around Disney, it was nice to hop on the bus and have my feet up in my nice, cool room in less than 20 minutes.

The Hyatt also offers airline boarding pass printing in the lobby, as well as a very helpful concierge desk. There are quite a few airport shuttle services (with names like Super Shuttle and Best Shuttle), and when we told concierge our plans to take this shuttle to the hotel the following morning, he warned us that they can be unreliable and make quite a few stops along the way. As per his suggestion, we ended up booking a towncar for the morning, which arrived to pick us up 5 minutes early and only cost about $15 more than the shuttle. I would recommend this option to everyone as it really helped ease my stress of not making it to the airport on time and was well worth the extra money.

All in all, I would recommend the Hyatt to anyone going to the Anaheim/Garden Grove area for a Disney Vacation.

We stayed at the Hyatt 5/26-5/30/08 for a Disneyland trip and couldn't have been happier! We had the kids suite which was perfect for our 7 and 10 year old. They loved having their own space with their own t.v. and bunk beds! The layout is great for parents as well, after a long day at D.L. the kids could go to sleep and we could still watch t.v. and talk without bothering them. It worked well in the mornings too, kids could sleep in and we could have coffee and get ready until they got up. We had a corner room facing D.L. which was nice. The shuttle is perfect - comes every 1/2 hour without fail - so if you can't get kids ready, just hop on the next one. The shuttle is only for Hyatt and Crowne Plaza guests (which is across the street). It only takes about 5-10 minutes to get from the Hyatt's front door to the D.L. drop off. We always had our pick of seats and just loved how convenient it was - drivers were also very friendly! We have stayed at the Fairfield Inn across from D.L. before but never again! That walk at the end of a long day at D.L. with tired kids is painful! We would much rather hop on an air conditioned shuttle with cushioned seats and be dropped off at the front door of our hotel. The hotels right around Disneyland (except D.L. resort hotels of course) are older and and can be a little "cheesy" - the Hyatt is newer and much nicer. The Starbucks in the lobby is wonderful. We also liked having Red Robin and Outback across the street. We are pretty "hotel picky" people and found the Hyatt to be a perfect Disneyland hotel. We will definitely stay here again!

My husband, two small kids, 3 and 2, and I booked the children's suite with one king bed and a bunk bed. We paid around 200.00 which is not too far off from the 250.00 that is charged at the disneyland hotel. It was really clean and the size was alright, but I wouldn't recommend it for families with children older than 7 or 8, the reservationist told us it would be like having two rooms, but it was very close quarters. It worked out good for us because we like our toddlers close, but there was also a separating french door. It was also nice that the toddlers got their own tv and so did my husband and I in our king bed part of the room. The staff was really friendly. The property is also very nice and modern. They do charge 10.00 for you to park your own car. Our view was also of the parking lot but we liked seeing our car at night. We went for an inexpensive trip to disneyland but for what we paid, we might as well have stayed on the resort, it is quite a walk (about 4 of 5 blocks) and if you drive over you pay alot for parking. They did have a shuttle but its hard to get toddlers dressed and ready to go at a certain time. It also sucks the spirit out of the whole disney magic. If your lookin for a good deal that isnt a far walk I would try the hojo across the street from disney, but otherwise give your kids the whole experience and stay on the disney property :0)

Traveled here for a government trade show at the Anaheim CC The rooms were immaculate and service was amazing all the way from the frnt desk to the valet. Spacious room with double queen beds, super comfortable bed with a pillow top! I felt the room I received for our GSA rate was more than adequate. The only draw back I saw or expereinced was very pricey breakfast at the resturant in the lobby. A buffet for 19.95 with eggs and bacon and premade waffles wasnt a value by any means I ate at dennys first day down the street and had made to order breakfast for $7.75 and it tasted better as well. Overall room value was awesome! Food well go elsewhere or pay the price!

we stayed here for 10 nights from 11/04/08 to 21/04/08 we booked the kids suite as extra , and this was money well spent it added an extra huge room to ours with big sturdy bunk beds and there own large tv next to the beds these were in tv cabinets , wich i thought was a nice touch, although this has been the most expensive hotel that we have stayed in with virgin holidays and been the most star rated, the lobby is bright and airy the hotel has an unusual shape and a large glass facade, its set back from the busy main road, away from any traffic , wich again i thought was a nice touch, the staff were all friendly and helpful, we stayed on the ninth floor, we had a problem with the toilet blocking one night about 10pm and reception had some one up within 10 minutes to unblock it, unfortunatley it had flooded the bathroom by then, but another quick call and house keeping came (about half hour later) and took the wet towels away and replaced them with new ones so i cannot complain , they dealt with the problem efficiently, the reason i have not given the hotel 5 stars was the pool was not heated even though it stated that it was, there are two pools we tried the groud floor one, it was spotlessly clean and clean towels there for use and changing rooms with toilets and a heated jaccuzzi, only the temperature let it down. also the resteraunt in the lobby was very expensive we only looked at the buffet breakfast menu $22.00 for an adult, i thought that was really expensive, tip for you, venture outside down the road a little way try co,co,s bakery they have superb breakfasts lunch and dinners, and have bright and friendly staff, but it gets busy after8.30am , we also tried the pizza hut express in the lobby as well , we needed a quick tea one night (late back, TRAFFIC) this was also expensive about $ 8 for a small personal pizza that did not fill us up, although i know this is a chain store so the hotel does not set prices here, there is also a starbucks in the lobby, not a coffee person myself, but there is so many tempting drinks, kinda got addicted to this place, i can definatley see where the americans get it from! one of the other great reasons why we chose this hotel ,it offers a free shuttle to the disney parks for there guests, leaving half hour before the parks open, then every half hour til the parks shut, even when the parks open til midnight, we made full use of this a great added bonus as the disney parks are a long walk away. all in all i cannot fault this hotel, it was clean , had huge beds and friendly staff well done hyatt

So my husband and I was very excited about staying in this hotel for a night.. Well it turns out to be a nightmare. Our tub was flooded the whole time so we had to take a shower with the water level around our ankles. On top of that, we had to pay for parking in their parking lot! I was very shocked to see that parking was 15.00 per overnight stay, thats even more expensive than Disneyland it self! Overall, I was very disappointed with this hotel considering it is a 3 star hotel.
