A few minutes from Garberville, this park is home to a forest of first-growth Coastal Redwoods. Once a tree over wide areas in the age of dinosaurs, it has been reduced to a few stands by repeated ice ages and logging. This stand is accessible and magnificent. Close to the highway, it makes a good stop as a rest area if you are traveling in the area and are pressed for time.
