We thoroughly enjoyed the food-wine pairing tasting experience today. The grounds, even with renovations going on to expand this into a culinary centre of excellence, were beautiful. The staff we encountered...Kim, Matthew and Roberto....were all over-the-top friendly and knowledgeable. The food that was paired with the wines...some of which were available only on site, was just spectacular...as were the wines. Don't miss a tour or self-guided tour of the gardens. Food used is grown on site, and there is an amazing array of grapes to taste, herbs to see, and international foods to view in the ground. Overall? We had an amazing time in an area full of wineries to choose from. Don't miss it...and if we were American? We would have become wine club members in a heartbeat. Go!

Byron, our wine tasting expert did such a wonderful job we immediately signed up for the wine club membership because Kendall's wines are the BEST, especially their Meritage. He suggested the food/wine pairing that was going on and that was unbelievable. When finished we ordered a case of mixed wines to be delivered to our home in Fla. Byron, thanks for a delightful experience at Kendall-Jackson....it truly exceeded our expectations a couple of weeks ago.

Finally attended the Annual Heirloom Tomato Festival at Kendall-Jackson. Located just a few exits past Santa Rosa & always sold out long before. Very well organized (the local police even helped with the parking), tons of free food, free Kendall-Jackson wine, music, free samples of every type of Heirloom tomato in existence, and even space to sit and rest in between tasting. Also lots of seminars. The event was full but didn't feel crowded. I can't wait to go back.

What a great experience we had here. When walking in we met 3 couples coming out who were laughing and having a good time so we knew we were in for a treat!

The roses on this property are GORGEOUS! WOW!!!

It was refreshing to learn that you could taste their regular wines for $5 and their reserves for $15. We were undecided so the nice gentlemen offered that we try the reserves for $5. Great!

We enjoyed all of them and we purchased the Taylor Peak Merlot 2005....it's excellent! I wish we could join the wine club but they can't ship to our state of MA. :(

It was nice to find a reasonably priced tasting....that was not the case in Napa. We couldn't find anything for less than $20 in Napa. Just not worth it!

I highly recommend you taste at Kendall-Jackson, you won't be disappointed!

The grounds around this winery are very pleasant & many ideal spots for picnicking. They also have a lovely garden area where they grow fresh fruits, vegetables & herbs as well as beautiful flowers & foliage. Definitely allow yourself extra time for exploring the grounds & garden. We were fortunate enough to be able to picnic in the gazebo area inside the garden which was just charming. The winery has a good variety of wines, however, the only downside to our tasting experience (and reason for the lower rating) was the sommelier (wine hostess), although very friendly, was also somewhat pushy & very strong in her sales tactics in pushing membership in their wine club, which for us we weren't very interested in. I would assume she is likely receiving commissions off the wine club sales. Other than that, the tasting experience was very nice & since I brought notes on specific wines we wanted to try, they allowed us to try a few more wines than what was on their tasting list. It was worth going & I would go again, just be prepared for a strong push into the wine club.
Note for disabled visitors - All the grounds & the winery is fully wheelchair accessible, including the garden. A very nice feature for those of us who need this.
