“Delicious discovery”
Reviewed April 3, 2014

Fullerton is not in my usual flight path, but it was midway to meet some friends and suited everyone. I was pleasantly pleased with the intensive menu that has something for everyone, and a very happy willing staff. This restaurant is clearly new only to me, as there was a constant procession of people, in singles. pairs. groups, coming in for lunch. Judging by the happy faces and cheerful chatter, there were only happy customers in this place.
I intend to come back often.

“Tasty delicious dishes”
Reviewed March 4, 2014 via mobile

Love this place for a delicious casual dinner out. Service is very simple and casual, menu is quite extensive for tasty Greek food. Hard to decide what to get, but all the selections are listed and described on their chalkboard; servers are well-versed on menu. Everything is very good; flatbreads and beet salad are my very favorites & hummus' are great too.
Yummy place with charming, casual, lively atmosphere

Ate at Kentro last night before a play. Service was very friendly and attentive. Food was fantastic. Had the calamarie, vegetable flat bread (excellent), beet salad (a little sweet) and eggplant spread. Everything was delicious!

“"I'll be back!"”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

Preferring to try the local fair when I travel I sourced out the closest Greek restaurants to my recent visit to Orange County. Kentro's came up with lots of good feedback so I decided to give it a try. I went in for lunch on a Saturday arriving around 1pm. The place was busy and didn't have the typical Greek gyro selections. Instead they offered a "bill board" of traditional Greek items with some updated twists.
I started with the Octopus w/ pickled vegetables. This dish was absolutely amazing!! I would return for this one dish alone!. Chunks of Octopus cooked in a lemony rue, served with pickled carrots and onions along with several slices of phenomenally scratch, baked bread. Simply indescribable.
Second course was the special of the day, Lamb sandwich. Again a very nice artisan bread with roast, shredded lamb, cheese and red peppers. Served with an au jus for dipping and (a larger than is healthily recommended) heaping pile of Kentro fries! The lamb was great, not dried out, the au jus was unnecessary. The bread was perfect, not to tough.

The setting is open, cafe style with a feeling of being in a Greek farmhouse (at least what I would imagine a Greek farmhouse to resemble).

This reviewer will definitely be back to try out more of what Kentro Greek Kitchen has to offer, on my next trip to the OC.
