I don't know when I have stayed at a Ramada Inn before but we stopped here because it was getting later in the evening and we did not like the HIE we tried in Fresno (didn't even check in). We were very pleasantly surprised and revised our thinking about Ramada. The check-in clerk was quite nice. The public areas and our room were clean (even furniture ledges in the room were clean). The beds were comfortable, good TV reception, nothing at all to complain about. We were a little concerned the cooling was not controlled by the wall thermostat and wouldn't get as cool as we liked but in the end that worked fine also. I will say the hallways and elevator don't seem to be air-conditioned. And our desk chair was a bit dirty. But otherwise the place was quite fine. I would be happy to stay here again and I will now consider staying at other Ramadas in the future.
