The bed and many pillows were so comfortable. My room had a big TV with cable TV and a couple movie channels, nice new decor, and a nice size shower/tub. Located in a nice quiet area. I'm will be back in the area several more time and plan to stay there again.

We stopped here on our way to Yosemite and arrived very late. The area around this hotel was not very good. We were uncomfortable leaving our stuff in the car so we dragged it all inside. Room was okay, but you could hear people up and down the walk way all night. Next time we'll try to get a place in a nicer part of town.

We appreciate all guest feedback whether good or bad. Some guest experiences fall in a category that hotel management just cannot control such as location and convenience off of major highways. Guest feedback provides insight from the guest prospective and is a very valuable tool when comparing comments to compliments. My staff and I are here to ensure a comfortable stay as well as attend to all guest needs. -Robert Hernandez (General Manager)

We stopped here for one night on our way up to San Francisco. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice when checking us in. We requested a late check in (we arrived around 10 pm) and had no problems. I was happy to see the The room was very big, comfy bed and pillows, a/c kept the room nice and cool. The complimentary breakfast was the perfect start to the next leg of our trip. I would stay there again - no doubt.

* BTW - you can't tell from their website, but the doors to the rooms are accessible from inside the building.

Stayed here two nights (in a king room) for a brief visit to Yosemite NP. The hotel has recently completed a remodeling and mostly appears pretty clean and new. Our room had a new LCD tv, small fridge, sitting area, etc.

Pros:
-Free wifi and breakfast
-Friendly service
-Spacious rooms (although I think of most motels like this as purely a place to sleep)

Cons:
-The surrounding area is so-so, and part of the hotel parking is kind of secluded (although covered by security cameras)
-One side of it overlooks a funeral home
-Aforementioned breakfast is mediocre, but what can you expect?
-As with most places, walls are a little thin if you have loud neighbors.

Overall I think this place offers an excellent value, we paid rates very similar to other motels in the area and I suspect they were a lot more dated.

Our room (a suite with pull-out couch and two double beds) was great, but by far it was the most uncomfortable bed I've tried to sleep in/on in ages! Room had minor trash left by previous guest, but otherwise was okay. Included breakfast was better than your average continental-only fare. Kids loved making their own Belgian waffles. Pool looked nice, but weather was a little on the cool side, so we didn't try it out.

The breakfast is good, but the space to eat is far too small. There are about 8 small tables in a side room. People have to stand over you as you eat while they are trying to make their breakfast.

Another problem is the location of the pool/spa. It is located in front of the hotel next to the parking lot and a very busy main street in town. It isn't a welcoming environment. Additionally, since this is a non-smoking hotel everyone that smokes sits outside the front door of the hotel and visits while smoking. This is right next to the pool area so you can't sit along side the pool and relax.

I like the arrangement of the rooms, however and the hotel was clean. Somewhat of a problem with the door room, however. You cannot just let the door close behind you because it doesn't close completely. You need to specifically close the door to see that it latches.

We greatly appreciate all comments whether good or bad. It seems that negative comments usually occur when guests overnight during a busy or event weekend. It is unfortunate that we cannot control smoking in our outdoor public areas but it coincides with being a %100 smoke free hotel.
