Description: Imagine visiting your favorite San Francisco-style steakhouse. Place it in the heart of California and invite all your friends to meet you there, and you'll experience The Elbow Room. From the day the doors first opened in 1955, The Elbow Room has been serving the best steak sandwich anywhere and it's still the number one item on the menu today. The culinary team will proudly tell you they only serve the finest Harris Ranch 100% Certified Natural Black Angus Beef, and it's a difference you can taste. The Elbow Room is synonymous with the best in casual dining and is known for being the place to see and be seen. Owner Mike Shirinian says it's their artisan approach to comfort food that's the real secret to the success of the nearly 6 decade-old California icon. Enjoy premiere steaks and seafood while sampling from the Wine Spectator Award Winning wine list. Watch the best satellite sports or just hang out with friends dining on one of the year-round temperature controlled patios. Completely remodeled in 2013,The Elbow Room has both eyes on the future while retaining an important link to its historic past - where everything old is new again.

Salmon- a delight even in the central valley. Wine list is extensive and reasonably priced. Service very attentive and friendly. Would recommend to all - kid friendly too!

“Fine dining in Fresno”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

Pulled into the best western late and asked for a recommendation of some where nice to eat that wash,t a chain. Rand and got the free shuttle bus to the elbow room bar and grill. They established our smoking or nonsmoking requirements. Jery thedriverand owners brother shoutedusanappertiser of artichoke heart and bacon on a crisp bread. We both had the lamb medallions which came with perfect veggies and polenta. The jus was excellent with a lovely hint of mint. The wine list is extensive and we enjoyed several bottles of aged napa alley starmont.
Excellent service and superb food.

“Low-key atmosphere, amazing food!!!”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

This place has a bar type atmosphere, but really great food. If you are wanting good food but don't want to dress up, this is a good place. We had a great steak and the truffle oil mashed potatoes are amazing!! The key lime pie was pretty tasty too. I will definitely stop and eat here again when in the Fresno/Clovis area!!

“Not worth the price”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

This place charges too much for average food. Nothing special. Plus the crowd is newly 21 yr olds, or old snobby men. Go somewhere else and you will be treated so much better!

We stopped in for a light dinner--when our server realized it would just be a sandwich and a side, she completely deserted us. Another person delivered our food, with mashed potatoes that were cool all the way through. No one checked on us, and it took us several tries to flag someone down to even get a check. The table next to us, though, with full meals and lots of drinks, received continual support and attention. The management needs to supervise staff to make sure all customers are attended to. Would NEVER eat here again, or recommend it to anyone else.
