Its not the long history, its not the atmosphere, its not reasonable prices or the spectacular menu selections that make DiCiccos Italian Restaurants such a wonderful eating experience...its the authenticity of the food the prepare with love and serve with pride. In this world of today it is a real treat to walk into a place like this and before you even know, you are in one of the few remaining places being served up "old world" food with old fashioned politeness and attention to detail.

For a special treat, head up to Oakhurst California on Highway 41 north. Its right on the way to world class Yosemite National Park. Enjoy the food AND the scenery. Life doesn't get better than this!

It's a name brand forever in Fresno. And I've eaten in its various locations. This time on Clovis Avenue in Old Town, Clovis. If you like bread, it's a home run. I ordered (as did my associate) a grilled chicken pannine sandwich-- lots of bread, a bit of melted cheese, a dash of sauce and a sliver of overcooked (ergo, dry) chicken. Total with a tip because the sole waitress for the room was courteous and attentive, with 2 ice teas, was $36. Really. Really sad.

Good home made Italian food. Service is always good. Great pizzas. Sometimes there is a little wait, but well worth it.

It was very difficult to find this restaurant. We went to the 1530 E. Nees location. GPS was not recognizing the address. I had to call the restaurant twice to ask for their address and directions and the lady that answered had to transfer my call. I ordered the linguine with clams and although it was nice to have a lot of clams in the dish, it was too salty. Tortellini Alfredo was okay and kids pizza was okay. Service was good and there was no wait which is always a plus.
