I love Parma. I love the owner's constant presence at her restaurant, the food, the drinks, and the vibe. My only beef with the place is that eating there is the event for the night. The food tends to leave the kitchen slowly and this is not a place to eat before a movie...unless it is a midnight showing. They leave space between courses for cocktails, convo and digestion. Their meats are always perfectly cooked. I order anything that comes with their buttery fried potatoes. I recommend eating on the patio if it's possible since the breeze is perfect. This place is pricey but we don't have very many gourmet places here and this one is locally owned. The creamy mushroom lasagne is amazing but extremely rich. The lemon cornmeal cookies at the end are perfect. I will say that I preferred the old location and smaller size but when they get it right at the new place you're sure to leave happy.
