“Inland coastal dining getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

I have nothing but exceptionally great things to say about Pismo's. We moved to Fresno after living in downtown San Diego and was so sad to not have our favorite restaurant by us anymore. We were sad to leave the Fish Market behind until we came across Pismo's! It's a great place to go on a date, take out of town guests and family to. Pismo's is my number one go to place. Every fish entree I've ordered I've enjoyed immensely! The calamari appetizer is 5 star along with their selections of clam chowda:) It's definitely better than some of the places I've ordered it on the SF Peir. If you choose to be wise and eat here; don't go without pairing your seafood with a beet and goat cheese salad. You won't be disappointed!

“Great addition to Fresno dining!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

Found Pismo's while searching for a Fresno restaurant while there overnight. It's very attractive and looks like lots of real coastal restaurants. We were there on a Monday and the place was packed! When we had our dinner, we could see why. The food was fresh and delicious. The capper for us was the selection of sides. We shared roasted cauliflower with almonds and sweet potato and asparagus hash. What a wonderful change from the usual fries and baked potatoes. I had steamed clams in a fabulous broth. We dunked a good sourdough bread in that over and over. Delicious! My husband had the swordfish and thought it was perfect. We would definitely return.

“Great for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

This seafood market and restaurant is located in a shopping center, and was very busy when we arrived. We were seated after a short wait, and thoroughly enjoyed our caesar salad and cioppino combos. There was a lot of shrimp, clams, and fish crammed into the small bowl - and delicious. Our server was very attentive, and we will definitely return when in the area again.

“Always a good bet”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

We eat here a couple of times a month and the salmon is awesome. It gets a little loud but that is part of the allure of the place. The service is always good and the food is presented well.
