This hotel has very spacious rooms, with a separate living area including large working desk, couch, and 42" TV. The only problems with the rooms is the very noisy air conditioner, and the soap with built-in cream, which is almost impossible to wash off.

The free self-service breakfast is good enough, and fresh cut fruits are available, unusual at this price level. Internet access and parking are free as well. Automated check-in never worked for me using a foreign credit card.

This hotel has very low rates in the weekend, which is both good and bad: the problem is that such a price attract many noisy young people who party late and make the breakfast area crowded.

A rental car is absolutely necessary, as the area is simply not designed for pedestrians.

My partner and I stayed at his hotel for a weekend visit. Hyatt Place so far, has not disappointed us. Airy, nicely decorated, classy and comfortable lobby area. Architect of this Hyatt brand have done a great job in its tasteful outline and layout. Quick check in, medium sized "studio" like room with a knack for imaginative "feng shui" trademark style is impeccable. Cushy leather sofa, well lit and sturdy laptop table (no issues logging on to superb Wi-Fi connection) small fridge and coffee area - perfectly fit for the size of the room. Closet area, adequate for two people. Bathroom, leaning on the small size, but not a negative, given that it worked nicely for the size of the room. The bed was perfect. Mattress was firm but not too hard on our backs. Soft pillows were quite comfortable and deserve an A on my book. HD TV located in middle of room, with easy turn table flexibility for all to view regardless of your room location. At their bar area, I enjoyed a well balanced and charming Pinot Noir...the lobby area extends to their bar / TV area in a circular, imaginative manner. Breakfast buffett (which is included in price) is pretty plentiful, you'll have a wide selection of juices, cereals and eggs to choose from, all included in your fare. Parking was not an issue, ample parking available for all.

Our only issues was the lack of separating walls, though not a terrible inconvenience, if you are a night owl and significant other is not, it may be too noisy or bright as you putter around in a "single room" environment with no separate doors. There's only a flimsy, non eventful decorative half separating wall, in between the bedroom and living room area. For the rate you are paying, Do not expect grand luxuries or American syle "BIG" but rather a tasteful ambiance, delicate architecture and comfort - as closely in line with a European boutique hotel in America - as you'll probably ever get for a chain hotel. Simply put - It was a joy to stay here.

We've stayed in this hotel in the past too, and it always seems to be a great value for money. Clean rooms with nice beds and a spacious living area with a huge 42" flatscreen TV. The complimentary breakfast is great too - nice selection and quality of food items. The 24-hour supply of snacks (you need to pay for it though) is pretty cool as well. All of this at super-low prices... that's what you call a great deal!

My friend and I took a girls trip to visit some other friends in Fremont. I chose The Hyatt Place because of the low price. Wow, what a great find!! Everything is modern looking, the customer service was exceptional and the rooms are HUGE. We loved the large living area complete with a 42 inch T.V. and a wrap-around couch. Perfect for traveling as a family! The bathroom was trendy looking and even had granite countertops! My friend and I kept looking at each other in disbelief, not believing that we paid less than $70 for the room, and that included a very nice continental breakfast!! I would DEFINITELY stay there again...maybe for a week!!!

I just randomly chose this hotel because it offered the best price for its star rating on Expedia. Man, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was and the HUGE rooms. The moment we walked into the room, I asked myself if I had booked a suite by mistake! The rooms have a great layout, offering both a l spacious living/office area that is separate from the sleeping area. THe continental breakfast was very good...the food presentation was great and the plates and silverware were clean. The layout of the dining areas prevented over-crowding. I ordered a waffle for just over $3 and it was one of the best Belgian waffles I've had, no joke. Also, there is free wireless in all the rooms. After this stay, I am always going to try to stay at Hyatt Place instead of the local Fairfield Inn or Springhill Suites.

I am writing this at 4:30 in the morning at the Hyatt Place in Fremont because i am unable to sleep in their lumpy bed. It was so bad I even had a dream about how lumpy the bed was. i ran across the nite manager as i was going to use the free internet computer on site (a plus, their exercise room is another plus, as is their 42 inch LG Flat screen TV) and told him his beds were lousy and got no response.

This used to be a decent place but wear and tear is evidently getting it down. It is settling into its "bargain" hotel niche, which is not what I am sure Hyatt had in mind for this place. Oh, and when i checked in, they did not have my reservation which i made at Hyatt.com, took 30 minutes to get things straighten out even after i went online and printed out my reservation confirmation. The attendant was nice, though, and tried his best apparently.

5 cars were broken in to in the hotel parking lot last night. so called "security" is a JOKE!!! They witnessed the break-ins as they were occuring and didn't even call the police. Management could care less!!!! When I googgled this hotel I found these break-ibs are a common occurance and no warning was given when checking in.
!!!DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!
