People go here for the breads, not the woildflowers, and they are great. I never had a moist scone before in my life, and the blueberry/giner/lavendar sugar-dusted scone was out of this world (Thanx to the cream they add.)Coffee (just plain, not fancy/expensive) was excellent. My husband though thinks the whole grain baguette at Cousteaux's in healdsburg is chewier and more flavorful. Alas not much room to sit indoors if it's foggy. All breads are made in wood-fired ovens..Note , they are only open Fri thru Monday- worth a drive thru beautiful country ,,and a very local scene

You'd never know that this cute little bakery in a tiny town would be so delicious and so popular!!! My bf & I stumbled upon Wild Flour Bread a couple of years ago after a stay in Bodega Bay. We hoped to find it again this time & it just happened to be across the street from our Osmosis Spa appointment that morning! This bakery reminds me of one I used to work at called Phoenix Bread Co. (formerly in Hopland, CA). Wood-fired brick oven, rustic crusts, steamy tender centers, organic/local/gourmet ingredients such as Garlic-Rosemary Loaf & Egyptian (Fig & Honey) Buns. There's also scones & fougasse! About $6.50/loaf- but worth it! Delicious...REAL... Free samples... Local... Friendly, passionate people... A "wild flower" garden outside.

900 loaves made daily - best tasting, healthiest, best flavors! Stopped by to buy a loaf on 1.11.2012.

We love to go have coffee and scones at this great wood-fired bakery before and/or after a visit to Osmosis Japanese Day Spa across the road. Great bread and other baked treats.

Wild Flour Bakery near Freestone Winery in tiny Freestone is a destination. This small shop is always packed with people buying a variety of interesting loaves of wood oven baked breads. We picked up a garlic/rosemary sourdough loaf and a date/fig breakfast crusty loaf that was so heavy, we knew we’d need to freeze half. A garden of herbs, flowers, and vegetables is adjacent. They only accept checks and cash and will trust you to send them a check if you only pack credit. This is a destination, must stop bakery when in the Sebasterpool/Tomales Bay/Dillon’s Beach Area. Loaves are pricey around $6.50 each, but, oh, so yummy.
