Description: California Grill of the Pajaro Valley serves only the finest, locally-grown produce, meats and desserts. In fact, the restaurant owner grows all the organic vegetables and salads right here in the fields of the Pajaro Valley. It's likely the produce on your plate was picked fresh from one of his organic fields just hours before it was prepared for you. Daily specials and desserts reflect the cycle of the seasons so you can experience flavors at their peak.

Found this restaurant on Open Table and decided to try it. Very good salads, great pot roast, and good shrimp louie. And others were waving about their dinners such as chicken fried steak. Friendly place. Looked to be a mix of first timers as well as locals who come regularly.

Friendly place, good food, nice place ....its in a strip mall type area....
but still makes for a nice dinner out. Some locals were enjoying their birthdays there as well.

Good for this area. We booked our reservations on open table.

Parking is in a free lot by the restaurant.

The California Grill has recently come under new management, and the food is very good, nicely presented, reasonably priced, and the service is good. (The bill for 4 , with 1 bottle of wine, was $125.00; entres were $15.00-$25.00.)

The skirt steak was excellent, cooked to perfection; the halibut was fresh and nicely done. The vegetables are fresh and beautifully presented--and the au gratin potatoes are yummy.

Just had dinner with four others. The steak was great. Eggplant parmesan over pasta delicious. The calamari steak a sure pleaser..Farm family owned...The veggies were just a few hours from picking. Cooked lightly. Only matched by what I grow myself. Most Organic as well.Deserts come fresh local.Friendly servers, funny and helpful. Never felt rushed to vacate.
