Love the steam dumplings, a great selection of different appetizers and popular dishes. Very reasonably priced.

Went for Easter Sunday brunch. Arrived 5 minutes before it opened and there were 20 people waiting before us. Three of us are Chinese with two Americans and we all loved the food. Great view on the water, medium price, busy servers, noisy customers, can't accommodate low sodium diet.

Just visited Cooking Papa again with some of my friends and it was really awesome. We enjoyed all the dishes but especially the Pork and Preserved Egg Porridge, Rice Noodle Roll with Flour Crisp, and Mango, Grapefruit and Sago dessert. The only disappointment was their House special Porridge, and it was the most expensive dish on the menu! ($30.00).

Stick to small bowls of porridge and you should be fine.

Will definitely be back again. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

We arrived on 10:30am when they opened on a Sunday morning. By the time we left at aroudn 12:30pm, there was a huge crowd waiting outside. Come before 11:00am to avoid wait.

Just went there for the first time this evening. The food was pretty good. This restaurant is actually on Michelin's recommendation list, which was really surprising to me. We tried the rice noodles in fish soup, which is pretty good. The porridge is pretty good as well. Lobster came out nice and tender, however, I thought the sauce/spice was just okay. I'd probably tried the garlic sauce next time. The flat rice noodles with dried scallop and pea shoots was just okay, too. I'd probably come back again for their porridge or the noodle soup in fish soup.

This place is always packed, mostly Chinese people. I have tried various of their dishes over time, but never liked it. It could be authentic Chinese and not Americanized.
