Went there for lunch, we had heard good reviews about the place. Ordered cannelloni, it was awful and smeared with balsamic vinegar which I detest. Service was ok, but not good.

They have just re-opened and the food is awesome (bbq-yumm) and the best beer around. They always have a party atmosphere-but Nov 1 is going to be one heck of a Halloween Party! You don't want to miss this one if you are in town.

Husband had the bolognese, said it was pretty good. I had prime rib, ordered med. rare, including baked potato. My prime rib was med. well, at best...they did get another one for me, which wasn't too bad...but they didn't include the au jus (on original plate it was served on the whole plate with the baked Potato smack in the middle of it!). Service was SLOW.

If someone goes looking for the Angelina Inn in Fortuna, CA, they won't find it! It's actually in the "village" of Fernbridge on the way to the sort of famous Victorian town of Ferndale, CA. You know, the place with the world's oldest living "Christmas Tree". Take exit 692 coming from either the north or south and you will end up on the little-known CA-211 road. You'll see the Inn on your left on that road before you turn down the part of "hwy" 211 going to Ferndale over the Bridge. or on the right maybe, After you see the Bridge, if you found your way onto the 211 from the south somehow. Don't expect to see a real Inn. Nobody lives there except for one apartment in the back. We've gone dancing there a couple times, which was OK once they moved the tables off the "dance floor". There's no ventilation, cooling/A/C in this part of the world. and we were sweating with no open windows/doors to let in that nice cool air trapped outside. and the after-hours "Bar" menu was just OK. The Chili is Hot, spicy. you have to ask them to make sure and cook the sliders(grass-fed beef) well, or you'll get almost raw. Both bathrooms only have a screen, which you can See Through, to divide the two toilets. If I remember right, there was a lock on the inside of the main door, so that might be an option.
