This was supposed to be a girls relaxing get away. It turned out to be just a waste of money and a battle to resolve. We arrived at about 2:30 dropped off our suit cases and left to go explore the area. After dinner we came back and decided to get into the hot tub... bad idea. The staff though asked never came to help with the lid and prepare the spa. We finally lifted the lid to find the edges smothered in a thick sticky residue all around. When the jets turned on the smell of bleach and bubbles was the worst. We asked for help and were told that this is normal and if we didn't like it we could check out! When we returned to our room and were changing we noticed the smell of the room was nauseating and when I went to use the toilet the bowl was stained with black residue and every time you flushed it looked as though someone had just voided. All we wanted was a nice place to relax and we were very disappointed. We try to get a refund and they refused and even argued that we were not right about what just happened. The husband owner had told the wife we were going to check out and she said she couldn't work the computer without her husband and he could not be contacted for an unknown period of time. They refused to refund my prepaid room fee. I won't stay there and believe me neither will anyone I know.
