Not realizing the restaurant was on an upper floor of a commercial building, we did flail about for a few moments trying to identify the place, even asking a local who was also puzzled, since we had the address (just step across the street away from the building and look back; it'll be obvious...). Well worth the modest effort, as the room itself is architecturally interesting, the food top-notch, and the service very attentive. We chose two entirely different entrees, one seafood and one pasta, and both were stylishly presented, tasty, and reasonably priced. Granted, our recommendation is based on only one visit on a quiet January night but, given the options in Fort Bragg, we consider the Mendo merits a visit
