“Mendocino”

A nice hotel close to all attractions in Mendocino. Breakfast was included and included such items as freshly made waffles, pastries, fruits, oatmeal and bread for toast, coffee and assorted juices. Rooms included a balcony with some overlooking the harbor. There is a nice walking trail to go down to the harbor if one likes to hike or walk.

We keep coming back to this gem. The suites here are huge and very affordable. There is free breakfast, an overlook view of Noyo Harbor from the back deck, and a fireplace in the room. We love to come up for a relaxing weekend from San Francisco. It's a great alternative to staying in pricey Mendocino which is only a quick drive away. It's fun to watch the seals & sea lions swimming in the harbor from the deck. It's also handy to have the path in back that goes down to the beach.

Room Tip: Get a suite!!!!!

My dad is a big fishing enthusiast, and loves to head up to Fort Bragg at least once a year to go fishing. So of course its very appropriate he's stays right there in the harbor, and jumps on his favorite fishing vessel at 7am when he's in town. My bf and I had not attended one of these fishing trips since he had discovered Harbor Lite Lodge several years ago. And this year we got the chance! What luck my family had as we snagged three rooms right there on the water, and what a blast we had. We'd have cocktails at Silver's right upstairs, and then head back downstairs for board games and snacks on our balconies right over the water.
The rooms were simple and clean. Mini refridge rocked for drinks and dinner leftovers. Small shower in the clean bathroom, which is fine, once again living in San Fran prepares you for this. Bed was big and comfy, and the room lighting was good. And like I said, the balcony over the water was sweeeet! At the crack of dawn, the boat engines begin to roar, and take off loaded with passengers looking for a great catch. I waved at fisherman going out on the boats at 7am in my hoodie, including my dad and bf.
Staying in/at The Harbor is great! There are several great places to grab a bite and drink all within walking distance. And I have also fallen in love with the garden/home goods store right across the parking lot! When my family returns to do another fishing trip, I will definitely join them and stay here once again. With a AAA discount, you can't beat it.

Room Tip: Planning on fishing while staying here, bring your own cooler. They do not allow fresh caught fish i...

The room was really nice, included a fridge and microwave. For the area the price was reasonable. Very clean. Also had a continental breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here.

Very nice hotel overlooking the Noyo Harbor. Our room had a king bed, but there was still plenty of space. It was clean, with a balcony that looked out over the harbor. We enjoyed watching the fishing boats go in and out of the harbor. There is a path that leads down to restaurants along the water. Easy going down, but saw some older visitors having problems with the steps going back up. I was surprised at how reasonable the price was for such a good location. We would stay there again.

Definitely a good option for a road trip overnight. The bed was big and very comfy, the room was clean, except for the rugs, and overall it had a little bit of unexpected charm. The breakfast spread was a little better than usual and with everyone gathered in their mini lodge, it felt very cozy and friendly. Lots of restaurants and stores in the area, a little busy road for anything quiet or secluded.

This is our favorite place to stay in Fort Bragg. Friendly staff, clean well kept rooms, nice breakfast in the morning and a great view of the harbor.
We always find our way back and look forward to our trip to this area of the coast.
The only downside of our trip in Nov was that the wifi didn't work in our room as we were too far down from the office.
With out a doubt we will be back !!
