I read the reviews and hoped for the best. I was happy to find that it was really clean and not run down at all. Our room had a kitchen that looked like it had recently been redone and had a new refrigerator, microwave and toaster. It's very quiet and cute - there's flower boxes by each door filled with flowers and each unit has its own open garage. They don't allow pets or smoking within 20 feet of the rooms, so things smell good. My only complaint is that there was a faint stain on the sheet. Even though I knew it had been laundered, it grossed me out so we turned the sheet 180 degrees so I wouldn't see it. Then I was happy again! The check in is at the grocery store on the corner -fast and friendly. You have to walk there to get your morning coffee, but they had six kinds to choose from. My husband had a delicious, organic African dark roast. All of this and it cost $60 plus tax! Stay here!

Needed a one night stay in Fort Bragg and read reviews on TripAdvisor. Very clean, beds comfortable, nice bathroom. A real take-back to the '50's and '60's. Quiet with the garages in between the rooms. Asked about a good fish 'n chip place and the desk recommended a great local place that we walked to. We didn't have a kitchen but did have a very adequate refrigerator. Great bargain. It was small and cozy but served our needs perfectly.

Room Tip: Great web site. Check it out.

Overall very clean and quiet, however our beds were old and not very comfortable. Very small shower!

Also, owners went overboard with warnings about all the things you will get kicked out or charged for... Smoking anything including incense, pets, guests after 9 pm, red-colored soda or items containing bleach... They WILL call the police! Off-putting to say the least!

This motel was a pleasant surprise. During a 5 weeks trip trough the USA we probably never had a room so meticulously clean. The rooms are separated by spaces guests can use a garage, and this is one of the reasons that really no sound from outside whatsoever penetrated our room. The location of the motel is also very quiet; Fort Bragg in general seems very quiet.
The staff was friendly. Coffee and chocolate were available for free in the market (also functioning as the hotel reception) just opposite the motel. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. There was also a kitchen with, in addition to a microwave and a refrigerator, an electric oven. The only thing a little surprising and puzzling was that there was no kitchen equipment at all, no glass, no fork, no plate, no pan, nothing........
However, also considering the costs, we recommend this motel when you are considering to stay in Fort Bragg.

We stayed at the colombi motel for 1 night. The reception desk is located at a small super market across the street which made it interesting to find. They were very helpful with giving us info on the area and places to eat. Our room actually had 2 rooms with 2 queen beds, one of which we didn't use! There was a stale smell so we left the door open for a while. Parking is right next to your unit which is convenient and different. The area seems shady but safe. They also have tea and coffee at the same supermarket for guests.

This place did what I expected - provided a decently clean room with a kitchen for hardly any cash in a great little nor cal oceanside town. Room's size was fine for the two of us. The queen bed quality was not great but the linens where fine. The only thing noticeably needing a cleaning was the front of the fridge, everything else was tidy. The tv was old and very small but we were there for the beach and the town and only wanted to watch for an hour in the evenings anyway. Was not happy to find a wide open kitchen window hiding behind cute curtains. Definitely needs to be checked and secured by the staff when turning over the room for new guests. If we hadn't chanced upon it someone could have easily come in while we were out all day.
