Great selection of locally-made chocolates, truffles, fudge and unique bark, like raspberry and lemon. Free samples of the chocolate.

I don't thing I've had the truffles so I can't speak to the previous reviewer. The chocolates are amazing though. The sea mist with caramel and salt is amazing as are the rest. They are so good my husband drove 30 min out of his way to get me a box of the sea mists. We were just there and they were out (it was a Monday). I've always found them to be helpful and nice. There are also a bunch of other candy type stuff and a few books and nick nacks too.

We ran into this store driving around the coast. It had a mention in the 101 things to do in Mendocino Magazine. The service was quite unfriendly and almost felt snotty. The store itself was quite nice. Enjoyed browsing and looking at all the different chocolate confections which were shaped like seashells, lighthouses, starfish, sharks, whales, etc.
We boxed 12 different truffles. All the truffles had creamy milk chocolate centers. We were quite disappointed with the flavors with most of their centers. My husband said that one tasted like nyquil and another tasted cheap frosting on store cakes. I have to agree with those statements. There were a few that were good and enjoyable.
